How to Put Music on Blackberry

BlackBerries are multimedia phones that allow you to playback songs on the go in addition to the regular calling functions. They include an in built player compatible with music formatted in iTunes of Windows Media Player. Depending on your phone’s memory, you can upload a variety of songs directly to your mobile device from your PC or Macintosh. Using BlackBerry Media Sync–the default BlackBerry media management program–you can upload your favorite tunes quickly and easily and begin jamming wherever you go.

Instructions

Things You’ll Need:
BlackBerry phone
USB cable
Windows users

Step 1
Download and install the free Media Sync Software (see Resources).

Step 2
Connect your BlackBerry phone to the computer using the supplied USB cable and launch the BlackBerry Media Sync application.

Step 3
Type a name for your BlackBerry device in the "Device Name" field. Select the amount of memory space you want to use for files other than music. Click "OK" to save the changes.

Step 4
Click "Select Playlists" on the media sync application and select the playlists (song sequences) you want to upload to your phone. Click "Sync." The selected songs are automatically transferred to your phone. Click "OK."

Step 5
Close the BlackBerry Media Sync application and disconnect your phone from the computer.

Mac users

Step 1
Download and install the free BlackBerry Media Sync Software for Mac (see Resources).

Step 2
Connect your BlackBerry phone to the computer using the supplied USB cable and launch BlackBerry Media Sync.

Step 3
Type a name for your device in the "Device Name" field. Click "Device Memory" if you want to save songs to a memory card inserted in your BlackBerry phone. Select the amount of space to save files other than music and click "OK."

Step 4
Select the playlists (song sequences) to transfer and click "Sync Device." Select "Music" and click "All Songs and Music." Select "Playlists." You should see all the songs you transferred to your device.

Step 5
Close BlackBerry Media Sync and disconnect your phone from the computer.
